UPDATE: The folks originally charged are now being threatened with arrest if they enter Madison County. Stay tuned.

Last fall a family of “God Fearing Missionaries” on their journey across America spreading the word of God encountered a surprise in Madison County Montana. The Boyd family began their journey in North Carolina with the idea to spread their spiritual devotion across America.
When the family and friends entered Madison County on the other side of Ennis a reality check on freedom and liberty was directly challenged.
A resident of Madison County challenged the family including their young son where the Madison County Sheriffs Department was called. They were jailed and have been charged with multiple crimes that they proclaim their innocence on. The case will go to court this coming fall.
Because the family is devoted to their mission, they are restarting the walk this next week. Here is a tentative schedule for those wishing to join in to support freedom and liberty here in Montana.
Friday evening 5/12
There will be a gathering for the early arrivals at the Ennis Community Park. It’s on the South end of Ennis where HWY 287 crosses the river.
Saturday 5/13
Starting at about 8:00 morning swing by Ennis Community Park and receive information on where to meet up and what the approximate time line of the event will be.
Generally speaking we will rendezvous South of Cameron Mt and journey to Ennis. (Watch for signs)
After arriving in Ennis there is a spaghetti feed on the North side of town just off HWY 289. Watch for the signs.
There will be a gathering before the serving of the meal. By this time of the day we’ll be playing the time line by ear, but will be serving no later than 5:00. (Probably earlier)
Before, during and after supper there will be Worship music, testimony and prayer. Prayer Requests will be honored.
Sunday 5/14
Early start for the Long Walk to Virginia City. Once again meet up at Ennis Community Park. Time will be announced at the supper. The Virginia City leg will end at the lower end of town. Sunday you’re on your own for food. We’ll have bottles of water for drinking.
