Do You Really Own Your Property

By Vincent Schmuki

“THERE IS A QUIRKY SOUNDING LAW THAT EXPLAINS WHY we are where we are in the United States today. The law is called Adverse Possession and we are a country that has been taken over by Adverse Possession.

In simple terms, my inaction and an opposing parties action has a consequence. If I have a neighbor who decides to posses my land by whatever means, the method is inconsequential, and I stay silent about it for a number of years, that neighbor has taken my right to my property by Adverse Possession.

Some of you are shocked right now but look it up and you will see that the neighbor who has been mowing 5 feet over the property line for years and you simply let him do it out of laziness, has just exercised his right to lay claim your land. That neighbor, after a number of years, has laid legal groundwork (no pun intended) to lay claim to your property.

What we have in this nation are two factions, the traditionalists who believe in this nation as was founded in freedom, and the progs -progessive socialists who want to mow on our side of the grass. They have been doing it for decades now and getting away with it just because we let them do it unchallenged.

“They Have Assumed Ownership Of Our Country/Rights…”

That is the primary principle at play here. You may have a right written on paper to your land but if someone steps over that boundry line for an extended period of time and you do not exercise your right to what is legally yours, whether as an individual or as a nation, your opposition is simply taking the high legal ground of walking in, sitting down, and kicking you out the door because you let him!

This sounds very wrong, doesn’t it? But it is a principle woven into our legal system that you have to defend your rights by exercising them, in order to keep that right. Folks, the left likes to tout their wokeness.

Most of you are familiar with Gulliver from the story of Gulliver’s travels. Gulliver is the giant in a land of little people. The little people have only one chance to conquer Gulliver. They wait till he goes to sleep and then tie many ropes (threads to Gulliver) across Gulliver to hold him down.

Gulliver is kept sated by his hosts with food and drink. At any point he could break free of threads holding him but he decides that status quo is ok with him. We are that giant living in our own land and the invaders think they have us bound and tied down. But just as in Swift’s fairy tale of Gulliver, at any point we can ‘get woke’ up and break free of our bindings if we desire to

In the very act of exercising our rights to freedom of speech and freedom to defend ourselves we have the one two punch that the Founders locked in rock solid for future generations to lay hold of for the freedom’s preservation sake.

FOLK’S, LET’S SHOW THEM WHAT A WOKE GIANT REALLY LOOKS LIKE!” ~ Vincent Schmuki
