According to a recent NBC Montana poll, 54% of Montanans oppose wearing face masks. Despite overwhelming public opposition, Montana Governor Steve Bullock issued a mandatory statewide mask mandate during a live press conference Wednesday afternoon. Bullock claims according to recent cases, cluster investigations, and contact tracing work that contacts and household contacts made up nearly half of all Covid cases reported from May through July. In July, clusters have made up more that 1\/3 of the cases. Yellowstone and Gallatin counties have accounted for 60% of the recent cases. Bullock also claims that small groups and community spread are the cause of the majority of new cases, though the governor gave no scientific data or specific research to back his claims.<\/p>\n
But most Montanans aren’t buying Bullocks rhetoric. Many claim there simply isn’t the scientific evidence to back any of the drastic measures that have been taken by Governor Bullock, most of which have had a major impact on the states economy. This has left many questioning the motives behind these actions.<\/p>\n
The data behind the mask mandate simply does not add up. The virus particle size is .125 microns. An N95 rated mask is rated at .3 microns. Some scientists claim that even though the vir<\/span>us particle is a 1\/3 of the size of the N95 rating, they “think” the N95 can still somewhat do an effective job at stopping the virus because it “may” get trapped in the fibers of the mask. This is merely a claim being made by some scientists and politicians but there is no scientific evidence to support these claims.\u00a0 The other issue with masks is they don’t seal around a persons cheeks, nose, and chin allowing large sized particles to enter the interior of the mask. With all of this considered, it doesn’t even begin to account for the cloth masks that are being worn by the majority of Americans. These masks are so inadequate they don’t even have a formal particle rating. Some of the most compelling cases against mask use comes from health concerns about restricting oxygen and breathing in your own carbon dioxide. It causes a condition called hypercapnia. This leads to increased blood pressure, lower oxygen, headaches, vertigo, double vision, and seizures. There has also been a lot of questions surrounding the legitimacy of both Covid testing and reporting. <\/span><\/span><\/span>The director of the Illinois Department of Health Dr. Ezike during a recent press briefing went on record stating that the “The case definition is very simplistic, it means at the time of death it was a Covid positive diagnosis.\u00a0 That means that if you were in hospice and had already been given a few weeks to live and then you also were found to have Covid that would be found as a Covid death. It means that if technically, even if you died of a clear alternate cause but you had Covid at the time, that would still be counted as a Covid death”<\/p>\n Proffessor Gershom Zajicek M.D. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem also calls into question the legitimacy of the Covid testing methods and faulty results. Dr. Zajicek claims that “stopping tests on asymptomatic people will terminate [the] epidemic.<\/p>\n How many people and businesses comply with the mandate is yet to be seen, but there is already a lot of chatter on Facebook and other social media urging people to standup claiming the mandate is unconstitutional.<\/p>\n \n \n <\/p>\n \n \n \n \n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Governor Steve Bullock announced today that Montana will be under a state wide mask mandate effective immediately.
